2016 College MAKE per 100 Kicks Leaders

MAKE (Makes Above Kicks Expected) adds up every field goal made minus the chance it would go in, given its distance and the weather. Dividing by attempts and multiplying by 100 puts kickers with different workloads on the same scale.

Above zero means he made more than an average kicker would from the same kicks. It is the fair way to compare a part-time kicker with a full-time one. In 2016, Zane Gonzalez (+27.59) led college football kickers in MAKE per 100 kicks, ahead of Rigoberto Sanchez (+22.61) and Emmit Carpenter (+20.87). 116 kickers qualify (minimum 10 field goal attempts). The median qualified kicker had +0.99.
