This policy explains how FootballKickingStats.com (“FKS,” “we”) handles information when you browse our statistics, stories and resource directory. FootballKickingStats.com is the operator of this website.
Information Used by This Website
You can browse without creating an account. The site has no registration, comments, newsletter signup, purchase checkout, advertising pixels or audience analytics added by FKS.
The site stores your selected light or dark appearance in your browser’s local storage under fks-theme. This preference stays on your device until you change it or clear site storage. FKS does not receive the stored value through a tracking service.
Requests to load the site are processed by our hosting and security providers. These requests can include an IP address, time, requested URL, browser information and referrer. Those providers keep such logs under their own policies and retention periods. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
Fonts and External Websites
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to request those files; Google receives information needed to serve them, including your IP address. See Google’s explanation. If we host the fonts ourselves in future, these requests to Google will stop and we will update this policy.
Links to A-Game, The Kicker Code, training organizations, research and reporting take you to separate websites with their own policies. We do not embed their podcasts, signup forms or tracking tools on this site. Once you follow a link, that provider’s practices apply.
Public Athlete and Team Information
FKS displays names, team associations, roster information and game statistics drawn from identified sports data sources. These are used to explain sporting performance and support comparisons. Public information can still concern an identifiable person. We welcome reports of inaccurate, misattributed or unnecessarily sensitive information through the contact channel below, and will consider applicable privacy rights and the public interest in accurate sports reporting.
Information You Choose to Send
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic, the details you enter and any link you add. We use them to reply, to check and fix a correction, to add information you ask us to add, and to run the site. Submissions go to a private location that only FKS staff can open, and the service that stores or delivers them processes them under its own practices. We do not sell them or use them for advertising. Please do not send passwords, medical records or other sensitive information. If a player is under 18, a parent or guardian should send his information. To ask to see, correct or delete something you sent, use the Privacy Request topic on the contact form.
Sharing and Retention
FKS does not add tools that sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising or track readers across websites on this site. Hosting and email providers may process information to deliver their services. Information may also need to be disclosed when required by law or to address security or legal claims.
The theme preference remains in your browser until you clear it. Hosting log retention is set by our hosting provider. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to respond to your message and to record corrections. Public sports records may remain available as historical reporting, subject to corrections, applicable law and source restrictions.
Your Choices and Requests
You can change the appearance setting, clear local storage through your browser, and choose whether to visit external links. Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to certain processing, or complain to a relevant authority. Younger Readers
FKS includes information of interest to student athletes and families. This site offers no child accounts, submissions or personalized advertising. Please do not send personal information about a child through the contact form. Any future feature that collects information from younger readers will first be assessed against applicable children’s privacy rules. If you believe personal information from a child has been improperly collected, contact the operator for review.
Security and International Processing
We rely on our hosting and email providers to protect the information they handle. No internet service is completely secure. Hosting, email or font providers may process requests in countries other than your own.
