2012 College Kickoffs Out of Bounds Leaders

A kickoff out of bounds is a penalty and gives the receiving team the ball at the spot or at its 40, so it is a mistake.

Only specialists with at least one appear; fewer is better. In 2012, Harrison Waid (8) led college football kickoff specialists in kickoffs out of bounds, ahead of Kody Fulkerson (8) and Justin Haig (6). 123 kickoff specialists qualify.

College rule from 2012 to 2017: a kickoff touchback started the receiving team at its 25, so a touchback was a good result for the kicking team. Kickoff Points Added accounts for the rule, so it is the fair way to compare kickoff specialists across leagues and seasons.
