Each punt's expected-points result compared with an average punt from the same spot on the field, added up over the season. It puts distance, placement, coverage and returns on one scale.

Positive means he gained more than an average punter would from the same spots. In 2026, Michael Dickson (+14.2) led NFL punters in punt points added, ahead of Tory Taylor (+12.7) and Cameron Johnston (+8.7). 33 punters qualify (minimum 12 punts).
